Maths is one of those subjects you either love or you hate however a lot of professions these days require you to have a good knowledge of mathematical procedures. Students who take A-Level maths will obviously have some flare for the subject and will often take physics, economics, chemistry and other technical subjects as additional A-Levels. The career opportunities for maths graduates are varied and a student's chosen career will depend on what other subjects they took as well. Industries that use maths however include the stock market, financial analysts, the IT industry and even astronomy - in fact the number of uses for maths is vast to say the least.
