Alyssa

Hi! I’m Alyssa and I am currently working as a chemist. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2023 with a 2:1 Masters in chemistry. Chemistry is definitely a passion of mine and I think part of this was due to the great teachers I had in school. I would love to encourage this passion in others. I’m friendly, approachable, methodical and well organised and will always do my best to help your son or daughter in their studies. I have A levels in both maths and chemistry so would be happy to tutor in either of these subjects.

I am available for online tutoring only.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I currently tutor 2 girls in GCSE maths. I have also had experience with tutoring GCSE chemistry. In total I have tutored 5 girls and have seen significant improvements in all of them. They have all gone on to have improved grades in their subject. I aim to help my students feel more confident with the subject and understand it, rather than just memorising.
