When? Where? Who? What? Why? Which?

I am frequently lost in a world of differentials. What is a differential? What does getting lost in one entail? There is a gap between two points and the differential is what lies between them. There is a famous example depicted by Stare citing a stationary train. At what point does the train, from being stationary move? It is a concept that suits the imagery and fascinating from a philosophical view point.

The mind has an excellent facility for detecting differentials, there is an atomic measure perceivable in almost every instance - mood, time, sound, space (we adhere to the sensory). There is a differential in understanding, the move towards understanding and finally understanding.

Synaesthesia is a condition that would typically entertain these differentials, perceiving detail in many given circumstances - a synaesthesia subject would often find difficulty in pulling back to see the bigger picture. He could be confounded between what is sensory and what is being sensed. He is your over thinker .

This condition causes a surprising amount of perplexity in many instances, least for identity which is the substratum for everything that we are do and hope for. Maintaining a normal healthy existence is fraught with unnecessary toil. Rather like a sticky floor that one struggles to walk over when one should be strolling and enjoying the landscape.

Creative thought requires a free mind which would be potential for the sufferer to let go . But he has to function whilst navigating chaos and obstacles of a normal modern life. A person experiencing synaesthesia does not have the luxury of ease and calm or of simplicity. The inability to deal with issues in the main cause high levels of stress and anxiety.

There is no blue print for being a functioning human being, a map provided to course one s mind. Everything has a channel or a course for rhythm and momentum, the point in case for the synaesthesia subject.
