A Sculptural Voice

My sculptural voice is a projected consciousness, a perceiving objectivity. The genesis of work is a knowing better an I know better than this following the silent indignation of reflection. A painting is besides the point.

It is a voice anxious to reconcile with the rebirth of creativity after a time of being absent from myself.

There is an exponential sensorial energy, a beginning that is on its way and is anxious to finish

There is an urgency to communicate not simply to articulate, the quality of grasping that moment of connection, a sustaining of a dialogue, the breathing parallels in the mind between two people, this is the framing of the work. To work inwards , to the genesis of things to discover the condition at the heart.

Language is not a laying down of words in a system in clumps of rhythm within rhythms counter it is a relationship between the spoken voice and the words spoken that becomes a consciousness in it s own right, a levitating moment when language is suspended in animation. I am orientated to reach past the normalcy of the everyday to touch upon the mysteries of the unknown in apprehension of the unsurfaced thoughts and sensations that exist within the mind of the viewer.
