Certain secondary schools will ask pupils to take the Eleven Plus (11-plus) exam before offering the student a place. These are usually grammar and private schools. The exam will take place during the pupil's final year in primary school. The tests are usually administered by LA (Local Authority) or the secondary school itself. The Exam can include one or more of the following:
- verbal reasoning tests
- non-verbal reasoning tests
- mathematics tests
- English tests
The LA or school will choose what types of test to set so it is important to contact them for further information. The exams are created by NFER where you can find more information. You can contact one of our tutors listed below who can help you prepare for the Eleven Plus exams.
