Information about Elisabeth
I am an enthusiastic and experienced tutor and teacher in Maths and English.I have 13 years teaching and tutoring experience ranging from KS2 to KS4. I teach face-to-face lessons and also online lessons.
I teach Maths from KS2 to KS4 and English from KS2 to KS3. I have many years experience in helping students gain confidence and competence in their learning. I have years of experience in tutoring students to reach above expected level in SATs and also pass their 11+ exams (including international students), with almost a 100% pass rate.
I am a qualified teacher. I gained my PGCE at Homerton College with a specialism in Mathematics in 2008 and also hold a BAEd in Education.
My approach to teaching is creative and flexible. As a tutor and teacher it is important to me to get to know the child and take into account their individual learning styles and work on their strengths. I love helping students to achieve their full potential by providing a positive and supportive learning environment.
Availability: Mostly after school, evenings and some mornings. Some school holidays.

Experience: I have over thirteen years experience teaching and tutoring from KS2 to KS4. I have worked in a mainstream school setting, for a private tutoring company and also as a self employed tutor. I have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and what is expected in each year group. I also have experience of tutoring pupils to pass their 11+ exams, with excellent success rates (almost 100%).

Elizabeth is an amazing teacher! My daughter Kamilla is a homeschooler this school year, and we were unlucky in finding an English tutor for her. All the attempts ended up with disappointment and confusion. English is her 2nd language, and it made things more difficult. Eventually we’ve came across with Elizabeth profile here. And it feels like a salvation. Kamilla has made a great progress on her comprehension and writing skills after just 2 lessons with this tutor! Her confidence in English and willingness to do the tasks raised dramatically. The lessons were very productive and interactive at the same time.
