I am an experienced private tutor based in Gravesend, with over 10 years experience tutoring 11+ , SATS, Maths and English at Primary School Level (KS1 and KS2). I also tutor Year 7 Maths as some children find the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 difficult.
I am a University Graduate with a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry with Business Administration and I also studied at Gravesend Grammar School for Girls.
I tutor from home and also online.

Availability: I will now be teaching lessons online. Weekdays after school and evenings.

Experience: I have been on the Board of Governors at a Primary School for 7 years while my children were pupils at the school, therefore, I have a very clear understanding of the way in which the curriculum is taught from Reception to Year 6. Additionally, I have helped many students in gaining confidence and a clearer understanding of the subjects being taught. One of my aims is to enhance the students` academic skills and teach them with a technique that suits them best as I understand that each child has individual needs. Initially, I tutored my 3 children and my friends` children in preparation for their 11+ exams they all passed and managed to secure places at the Grammar Schools. Currently, my eldest son and daughter are studying at University whilst my youngest son attends Gravesend Grammar School. I am a dedicated and successful tutor who enjoys working with children and I gain great satisfaction from helping children to excel in their studies.
