I am an experienced am enthusiaistic teacher who has worked throughout Primary and secondary schools for 28 years. I believe that every child should have the opportunity to succeed and to reach their own potential.

Availability: I am available most evenings after school and have some availability during the day for Home Ed students. Currently I only have space for online tuition which I have found has been very effective for my current students.

Experience: After my Psychology degree - I decided to train to teach so that I could make a difference . I have spent the last 28 years working full time in Primary and Secondary schools and more recently working as a specialist teacher with children who are not in full time school education. I have a lot of experience working with children with a wide range of SEND including SEMH, ASD and SpLD.
After meeting many children with SEMH I trained as an Anxiety coach to offer support to children to overcome their difficulties.
In addition as part of my training in Dyslexia I have also become an assessor for Irlen syndrome.
I teach KS2 - all subjects, SATs and 11 plus preparation, KS3 and KS4 GCSE Higher /Foundation English, History, Sociology , GCSE Foundation Maths and FSL1/L2 English and Maths .
