Working out mixed number fractions

Working out Mixed Number fractions such as 4 1/2 + 3 1/6
Step 1. Add the integers( 4 +3 ) =7 , then you can
Step 2. Now add 1/2 and 1/6 which will be 4/6 ( 2/3 simplified)
Step3. Add the 2/3 to the integer( whole number) which will be 7 2/3 which is the final answer when you add the above two mixed numbers together, which is an easier way of working out the calculation and is less prone to error!
