Feedback for our Economics tutors from previous students

"Great teaching techniques, useful widening of knowledge further of the book and very good marking of exam questions with deeply detailed explanations. Highly recommend!"
 Feedback for Neal
"Neelam has tutored my son for A Level Economic, during a short period of time, my son’s has grown in confidence with regard to unit content, analysis and evaluative skills needed to attain an A*- A grade. Lessons were well planned, organised and set at a level that stretched and challenged my son to achieve a high grade. Neelam effectively used her experience as an examiner and highlighted some key issues that my son needed to focus on. This was a highly effective strategy as lessons was personalised to cover areas my son was struggling with. Effective assessment strategies were used to ensure that my son was consistently making significant progress and I was kept updated with his development. I highly recommend Neelam as she is a very experienced teacher, examiner and very supportive and..."

"Alex explains complex topics in a really clear way. He has helped me understand topics I struggled with before. Working with him has really helped me improve my understanding and exam technique. He has also supplied me with invaluable advice on careers and universities. Excellent all round tutor."
 Feedback for Jon
"I contacted Richard to help improve my maths ability as I was struggling at school, keeping up with the work in class. Since then, I have seen both a huge rise in results at school and my own confidence in my maths ability. I struggled to keep up with the dynamic nature of the A-level subjects i was studying (maths, further maths); however, Richard helped me understand the complex concepts and provided me with new techniques to combat old ones. Now at school, i am consistently seeing my exam results increasing and am finally able to understand the topics in class. Richard`s lessons are fun, interesting and engaging, he follows the pace at which you want to go to so you never miss any content, and always explains things clearly and concisely. Richard has shown me the true meaning of wh..."

Students who choose to study Economics do so for a variety of reasons, one of which is the wide range of careers that are opened up to graduates. An A-Level in economics often leads to a degree course in the same subject and this in turn can lead to a multitude of job opportunities including positions in accountancy, finance, stocks & shares, the IT industry and teaching. Students who take economics also tend to take maths, sociology, English and occasionally politics and law to compliment their studies. Admittedly economics is an in-depth subject and requires a lot of hard work however the potential benefits are easily worth it.
