A plethora of experience with international students consistently doubling grades. For instance, a Russian student came to me with an E in Economics, and a D in Business Studies after working hard together he achieved an A* in Economics and an A* in Business Studies and has gone on to study at the London School of Economics.
12 years of being an examiner in Economics and Business, translated into a streamlined teaching experience by understanding what the exam boards want.

Sean is an amazing tutor who I would recommend without any hesitation! He has tutored my son throughout year 13 (2026) for his Economics A`level and has been instrumental in raising his grade from an E in the year 12 summer mocks to a high B/A predicted with a current offer to attend a Russell Group university to pursue a Bachelors degree in Economics. Sean`s approach is methodical and rigorous, helping to support any gaps in understanding and then using his considerable expertise as a senior examiner to refine how the knowledge is best applied in an exam context. Sean was always dependable as a tutor and followed sessions up with detailed notes of what they had covered. He also very kindly added extra sessions prior to the actual exams which has really helped boost my son`s confidence when approaching such a high pressure/high stakes scenario. I`m incredibly grateful to have had him on board.
