My son finds her tutoring excellent. His confidence in answering economics A level questions has been raised vastly.

When I was looking for an economics tutor, I wanted someone who was going to push me and really work with my style of learning. I tried a few other economic teachers briefly before I found Jo, but didn`t find in them the flexibility to work with my changing needs - as sometimes I wanted to go over an essay, or revise a particular topic, or write an essay together etc, however when I found Jo in February of year 12, she was very accommodating to what I was looking for. As I was aiming for A/A* what I wanted most in a tutor was someone who was willing to mark essays that I would write weekly and give me feedback during our lessons. I realise this may not be an overly common request, but Jo was so great at working with my needs, and always went above and beyond - especially when it got closer to exam season and I was flooding Jo`s inbox with last minute questions, she replied to every single one of them, and even sent loom videos explaining certain concepts. Jo genuinely always seemed so happy to help, and I have never met a teacher or tutor who went more above and beyond then Jo. Jo clearly has a lot of experience with teaching and marking, which I found so beneficial as she was very familiar with the styles of different examining boards. Not only was Jo always so willing to help, so helpful in explaining concepts, she was really supportive, friendly and always gave me a boost if I was feeling low or drained, and given the roller coaster that A levels are, I appreciated this so much. My predicted grade for economics is A*, and I have just finished all my exams and have Jo to thank so much. So yes, I really recommend Jo! - Carla
