Matthew has been tutoring my son for A Level economics. Matthew is up to date with the OCR exam board and throughout the tutoring, lessons have been spent focusing on the curriculum specific to OCR and in particular, the areas where my son has needed the most support. Leading up to exams, lessons have been spent looking in detail at exam questions and techniques on how to answer them to achieve maximum points. What sets Matthew apart from other tutors is the amount of time he spends outside the lessons helping my son - essentially setting homework, reviewing it and sending really detailed and useful feedback to help him improve his understanding and techniques. So we’ve really had much more of Matthew’s time than we expected! My son has felt much more equipped going in to his exams due to Matthew’s tutoring and has grown massively in both ability and confidence. What’s more, he is enjoying studying economics much more than before! Matt is helping my daughter to prepare the A level economics exam. My daughter likes his teaching style and enjoys Matt`s lesson each time. Matt is organised and well prepared, he provides tailored homework before the lesson and detailed feedback after the lesson. Matt`s style of tutoring works very well for us. Matt has been flexible in adapting session focus to suit our needs.
