"Lynne worked with my son during his year 11 English GCSE. She always came to our home, although the online tuition was on offer - it just worked better for us having face to face tuition. She was friendly, empathetic and down to earth. She developed a good rapport with my son, she was natural and genuine and he liked her. She had a good way of discussing different subjects with him and managed to draw out his vocabulary and ideas in a way that made him feel positive about himself and his work and gave him confidence that he could succeed. Despite a target grade of E (based on KS2 test data) my son gained a grade C in English Language, with Lynne`s support with homework tasks, preparation for his oral and course work assignments, as well as a great teacher at his school who never gave up on him.
