Jack

Jack is a doctoral researcher at Brasenose College, Oxford fully funded by an All Souls College - AHRC graduate scholarship. His thesis examines how the various ways poems come about can be intimately tangled up with what they`re about, as it focuses on how writers of the Romantic and Victorian periods revised their work. He has taught at several Oxford colleges on issues ranging from Victorian poetry to the reception of Classical literature in post-1900 English verse. He also holds a degree in Classics from Durham University and a Master of Studies in English from the University of Oxford. He has a range of teaching experience from nurturing the abilties bilingual children to achieve a grasp of English language and literature up to master`s level students at Oxford and can`t wait to start working with you!
