Feedback for our tutors in from previous students

"My son and I really couldn’t have wished for a better tutor. I found Zeinab only a couple of months before the 11+ exams after an awful experience with another tutor. My son was sold after just the first lesson with her. She is calm, kind and understanding of the student’s needs and was happy to explain things in as many different ways as necessary until my son understood what was being asked of him/the question/the concept etc. She would take each question and go over it thoroughly with him until they were both happy. Within just 2 months he went from getting average scores of mid 70s – 80s to getting mid 90s on all his practice papers. What I noticed the most was that Zeinab isn’t the kind of tutor that most people think of – she didn’t tutor my son to just pass the exam, she tutored him to UNDERSTAND the questions, the work and the methods used to reason the correct answers. This meant that he was prepared for the way exams can pose questions and was able to apply his knowledge accurately. Zeinab was always flexible and accommodating of lesson scheduling and even carried on tutoring while we were abroad on holiday by using Skype lessons. Usually my son is shy with new people but he opened to her immediately and felt so comfortable. After a bad experience with his previous tutor, to find Zeinab was a godsend! Maybe the most important part to say is that my son passed his Bexley 11+ just a few marks outside being in the ‘Top 180’ of 5.5k children and he passed his Kent 11+ with a pass score of 91.4% which put him in the top 6% of nearly 13.5k children that took it. Although he would likely have passed without tutoring, without Zeinab’s help he would not have achieved such fantastic results. I really can’t praise or recommend this woman enough. "

"Julia has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter, who was really struggling in her first year of A Level Biology. Having convinced herself that she was going to fail, Julia worked with her in an encouraging and pragmatic way and my daughter came back with an A in her mocks. Julia is very approachable, and understands the exam system and what is expected through and through. She is exactly the tutor we were looking for. Thank you Julia!"

"Finding Suhaina just before my son’s GCSE Chemistry exam was the best thing that could happened to both of us. Not only she is an amazing knowledgable tutor, but she managed to boost my son’s lost confidence and to help him to fall in love with a subject which I thought was mission impossible. Thank you dear Suhaina, for everything you have done for Dennis!! We can’t thank you nor praise you enough!"

"Rabia is an excellent tutor. She is helping my son to catch up and fill in the gaps with his first year of economics A level. Rabia explains concepts clearly, is very enthusiastic and professional. She even writes notes in the lesson for my son to take away, which is definitely a plus!! We would thoroughly recommend Rabia!"

"Shannon is an incredibly organised and reliable woman, who would make an excellent tutor. She learns incredibly quickly and simplifies key concepts well, meaning they are much easier to understand when she explains them. Shannon and I are both in our 4th year of medical school together, and I have been in small group student-led teaching sessions with her. She is an asset to the school, and will make an excellent tutor."

"Safah tutored me during my undergraduate degree and had great understanding, communication, and patience. She is very friendly and is a good teacher. I highly recommend her to tutor in biology."
