Information about Andra
I`m a scientist by training, having graduated from the University of York with a first in Molecular Biology, and then pursued a PhD at the University of Oxford. I love teaching sciences, languages and offering general support with university applications.
Availability: My schedule is very flexible. I can also work weekends and evenings.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have helped over 150 students apply to university (including UCAS system, writing personal statements, Oxbridge interviews)
I currently work as a tutor for SAT exams (for admission to US universities), but looking to support other students using this platform in GCSE, A-level sciences and languages. I have successfully taught Biology, Chemistry and Maths (including advanced level) from 11+ up.
I have a certification as Spanish teacher and have studied it in depth for over 10 years. I have taught it both to people who wanted a bit of conversational support and to people who wanted to get serious about grammar, spelling and other scary areas :)
