Here are two friendly nuggets of wisdom about prime numbers that you should keep in mind:

1) When it comes to prime numbers, there`s a little twist to remember. Most primes are odd, but there`s a cheeky exception - the very first prime is 2! So, if a tricky exam question ever tries to trip you up by asking if every prime is odd, don`t forget about our friend 2. It`s special because it has only two factors, 1 and itself.

2) Now, here`s another interesting fact: the first prime number is not 1. It might seem puzzling at first because we define prime numbers as those divisible only by themselves and 1. But if we add a little extra perspective and say that a prime should have exactly two factors, it starts to make sense. You see, 1 has only 1 as its factor, and it`s missing that crucial second factor, so we can`t quite call it prime!
