Feedback for our Media tutors from previous students

"Liz has been really helpful in working with me to recognise and understand media language that stretches across the course and has really helped me condense my knowledge from case studies which will prove especially useful when reproducing them in essays."
 Feedback for Liz
"Connor is a well organised, dedicated tutor who really wants to make a difference. Connor also gave great regular feedback and really helped improve my sons confidence. I would have no hesitation recommending Connor."

"Andy is great with my son. He has a fantastic understanding of his subject and a great ability to teach it. He instantly connected with man son, who in all honesty wasn`t too keen to get a tutor. We have been so pleased."
 Feedback for Andy
"Andy is fantastic. When he started tutoring my son A Level media, my son was lacking confidence and suffering from anxiety. With Andy’s help he turned it round and achieved a grade A which got him into Warwick University. Andy has a gentle, thorough approach and I can’t recommend him enough."
 Feedback for Andy
"Munir is a very helpful tutor not only that he is also able to break down things into smaller parts to be able to understand it better. I find sociology easier now and instead of seeing it as big chucks of content to take in I am able to break it down and understand it better because of Munir. As far as being a really good tutor, you are also able to communicate with him if needed and he is very understanding. I definitely recommend"
 Feedback for Munir
"Gus has an unusually strong record of teaching and pastoral experience with the 17-21 year-old student age range and is an inspiring and highly original teacher. He is bilingual in Spanish/English and has a very wide knowledge indeed of socio-cultural issues relating to Latin America and Spain."
 Feedback for John
"I have known Andrew for approximately 7 years. Andrew supported me during my nursing degree study as I have additional support needs relating to Dyslexia. Andrew was a fabulous support, very professional, courteous, impeccable timekeeping, reliable and attentative. Often Andrew would act above and beyond any expectations, often making himself available at very short notice and working long hours. I found Andrew to be a caring and empathetic person. Andrew would be patient and supportive when offering support particularly during my studies and times of immense stress, and workload. Andrew managed to offer support to facilitate completion of work within tight deadlines. I would recommend Andrew to support others, I feel he has so much to offer those in need of support regardless of th..."

"Amabareen is a dear friend of mine who I appreciate most for being extremely reliable. She is available 24/7 as a good friend and often goes the extra mile to ensure the happiness of those around her. I am fully confident that Ambar will make a great tutor as she is both patient and dedicated."

Students love to take A-Level media studies because it's a fascinating subject with loads of useful applications. Students today get to learn the theory behind the different forms of media while also learning the practical side of the industry as well. Other subjects that compliment media studies include English, art, drama and sociology however these are often dependent on the student's chosen career. Most students take media studies with a view to entering into the exciting world of television, radio or reporting and as such they generally go on to complete a relevant degree course. Some however get lucky and find employment straight out of college.
