2 x A-Level Media A grades from my two tuttees! 🥳; 🎉; 🏫;

Hello, I’m an experienced secondary school teacher, Head of Department and examiner offering tuition in GCSE Media Studies, A Level Media Studies, GCSE English Language, and GCSE English Literature.

Whether you’re aiming to improve your understanding, prepare for exams, or achieve top grades, sessions are tailored to your individual needs.

All I ask for in return is your effort. I know that doing an hour’s tutoring after a full day at school isn’t everyone’s idea of fun. I understand that and as such, aim to make sessions light-hearted, yet useful (a sense of humour is needed; especially if my two year old makes another unscheduled appearance 😳;;;;).

My online tutoring results have been incredible over the past few years….including A* at A-Level and 8s and 9s at GCSE. That being said, I aim to plan sessions around your personal target grade.

Students tell me the most useful part of sessions is working on past exam questions. We’ll look at how to structure a response, what to include and everything in between.

My sessions are relaxed, supportive, and designed to feel different from a typical school lesson. Together, we’ll build subject knowledge, develop exam skills, and work through example exam questions to boost confidence and improve grades. We focus on understanding content, mastering exam structure, and learning how to apply knowledge effectively in assessments.


Ultimately, my role is not to replace your teacher, but to help with any issue you find difficult. Whether that is a particular topic, exam structure or anything else, I look forward to working with you!

Availability: Evenings after school...but I try to work around you!
