I’m Jennie. I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor looking to help students and teachers to understand media in all its forms. I can help with GCSE, A Level as well as Cambridge Nationals and Cambridge Technicals.

I was Head of Film, Media and Sport faculty at JCoSS in London. I recently moved to North Yorkshire to become a teacher trainer and media consultant, but I’ve kept teaching throughout lockdown and beyond, so I have lots of experience of remote teaching. I have been a teacher for 12 years and I also moderate for exam boards.

I have a B.A in Journalism and an M.A in Media, Culture and Communication. Even my PGCE at Central School of Speech and Drama was Media Specialist teacher training.

I’m keen to make ‘media’ as enjoyable and interesting as possible and to help students find their best way of learning.

Availability: Evenings, weekends and some days too. I have good flexibility.
