"Mark is an excellent Tutor. He is very approachable, empathetic, and highly versed in his subjects (beyond expectations - he is completing his Doctorate in Mathematics!) His communication and planning is superb - text messages and emails always arrive/are received and read, with plenty of time for alternative arrangements to be made. Mark also has a fantastic grasp of how to offer the best level of support for his students - he scaffolds learning, so that no time is wasted covering ground that the student already understands. Obviously, Mark will recap areas for revision, but will focus upon weaknesses in a way that provides and builds confidence in the students self-belief. My son has already benefited hugely from Marks guidance (and sings his praises) and we are very grateful that we have found such a strong and understanding tutor, at such a reasonable rate.
