Information about Ian
I am an English teacher at a secondary school in Sefton but live and tutor in Rainford. I have taught English and English Literature for 13 years and have had great success at GCSE recently gaining 16 A*s and 13 As from one class. I have marked GCSE papers for both AQA and WJEC and I currently teach AQA in both English Literature and English Language and have huge experience of new specification having been an examiner for Language and being the AQA representative for hub meetings in my department. I have tutored for 15 years and recently tutored a pupil to an A* in English and A in English Literature as well as a resit pupil who struggled to get a C to achieving a B. Having an English Literature degree, I am able to tutor English Literature A Level but not Language.
Availability: I have availability for two students this academic year.
