I am a fully qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience in education, including roles as Headteacher, Secondary Mathematics Teacher, SENDCo, University Educator and Private Tutor. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, helping them to build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals.

My specialist subject is Mathematics, and I have extensive experience teaching across the Primary National Curriculum, GCSE Mathematics and A Level Mathematics. I also provide support in English and Science at GCSE level and have significant experience working with students preparing for entrance examinations.

For more than 15 years, I served as a SENDCo, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs. This experience has enabled me to develop a patient, flexible and highly personalised approach to tutoring.

I believe that successful learning begins with understanding each student`s strengths, needs and aspirations. My lessons are engaging, structured and tailored to the individual, ensuring that students make steady progress while developing confidence and independence.

I currently work as an Associate Tutor within a university Education Department and am undertaking doctoral research in mathematics education, allowing me to bring the latest educational thinking into my teaching practice.

Availability: I have availability during the day and especially after 3:45pm on weekdays.

Throughout my career, I have taught students from Early Years through to university level, supporting learners with a diverse range of abilities, backgrounds and educational needs.

As a specialist Mathematics teacher, I have extensive experience teaching Primary Mathematics, GCSE Mathematics and A Level Mathematics. I have also taught English and Science and have supported students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, A Levels, entrance examinations and university applications.

For more than 15 years, I worked as a SENDCo, developing expertise in supporting students with special educational needs, learning differences and barriers to achievement. This experience enables me to adapt lessons effectively and provide highly personalised support.

Alongside classroom teaching, I have tutored students on both an individual and small-group basis for many years. I have helped students improve grades, rebuild confidence and develop independent learning skills, with many families choosing to continue tutoring with me over several years.
