Information about Jemma
*PRIVATE TUTOR WITH EXPERIENCE*
I offer private tutoring from my home in Hucclecote, either individually or in groups of up to six children. I specialise in KS1, KS2 and 11+ entrance examinations. I also have experience in Early Years.
I have been tutoring for over 14 years and currently work in primary education. I have experience working with SEN and adapt sessions to suit the individual child. Every child has a unique learning style and our lessons reflect this. References and feedback can be provided if required, from both parents and students.
I strongly believe in helping children develop as a whole, and I strive to help students have confidence in themselves and to make sure their emotional wellbeing is catered for too. Many of my students and parents remain in contact after we finish our course of tutoring, and I will always offer support where I can for students and their families.

Jemma has been amazing with our son. He really looks for forward to his sessions with her. Jemma mixs up the teaching with my son with taught learning, games and additional homework as required. She tailors examples to areas my son likes like football to engage him more. My son has been going to to Jemma now for a few weeks and already there is a marked improvement in his work at school.

My daughter has had a few sessions with Jemma now and has settled in very well. Jemma has made her feel at ease and has been very encouraging. My daughter looks forward to the session and comes out with a smile. In a few sessions Jemma has identified the areas of support needed.
