DBS checked, I am passionate about providing a positive holistic and nurturing experience to learning and improving outcomes. I want to help learners grow in confidence whilst also helping them to increase skills. I offer a wide variety of subjects but my main experience has been teaching key skills of literacy, numeracy and skills for independence (life skills) to children who have special needs or unmet needs. I have there children myself and I understand the difficult times children and families have had to face throughout the pandemic and how best to support them to close gaps and be on track for successful outcomes. I am flexible and can create bespoke learning packages and resources for my sessions. I can additionally teach other subjects including English and I am qualified also to teach English as an additional Language. My availability can be weekdays, evenings and weekends. why not give me a try I can`t wait to get started!

Acknowledged for realising significant positive change through innovative practices and creative learning strategies, having been instrumental in turning around a school from “Requires Improvement” to “Good” by OFSTED. Overcome barriers to academic success across all cultural, ethnic and social groups having embedded a passion for strong values and inclusion. Committed towards personal development; enhanced awareness surrounding current thinking relating to special education while studying attitudes to social, emotional, mental health, disability, human rights and equality during ongoing Master’s degree. I have in the last 3 years successfully applied for over 20 Education and Health Care plans for children. I am also qualified to teach students who have English as a second language.
