Feedback for our tutors in from previous students

"Excellent tutor who explains topics very well ensuring my son has understood properly. Very good English tutor. We have had a few lessons at the end of last school year and started with Kirsty again for this school year - now in his GCSE year. Thanks Kirsty – much appreciated - Thank you."

"Matt has been a fantastic English language /Literature Tutor he is so knowledgable and teaches with a passion. He never let us down and always arrived early. He is very smart he has a lovely sense of humour and my son and him had a brilliant rapport. During the exam time Matt had been in contact before and after every exam he emailed revision notes and reminders to keep my son focused. We were so lucky a space became available as my son was in Year 11 when we engaged Matt in the November of 2018 which meant allot of hard work ahead. My son was attaining grades of 3, his moral was rock bottom we felt the school had let him down, my son knew deep down he could make a massive improvement with extra support. So we engaged Matt he is amazing as he found how to bring the spark and competitiveness back by teaching in a way my son did not realise he was learning which built up his confidence as he wanted to work hard to try and attain a 5/6 to open up opportunities to study at College. The grammar, punctuation , paragraphs the more descri ptive words together with how the questions are expected to be answered to gain the most marks, all this has been taught by Matt and will have made a huge difference. My son is confident he answered the exam questions in the way he had been taught by Matt and realised that others in his Year who sat the same exams were not as knowledgeable as he was.? Now we wait till August. I have no regrets in Engaging Matt. (And neither does my Cat Billie who never goes to anyone, went straight to Matt on the first day and has sat next to him every lesson to be tickled , so if my son has not done well Matt will be kidnapping Billie and taking him home )!! However we are very confident Billie is safe ! Thank you Matt for all you have done, you have been amazing. And anyone engaging Matt will have no regrets."

"Rich is one of the most approachable people I know. He has a knack of making people feel at ease around him and genuinely takes an interest in every individual. Rich is a very patient teacher and can communicate well with people of all ages. He is great at getting the very best out of people and taking the pressure off of situation. I would have no trouble in recommending Rich as a tutor to anyone."
