"Matt has been a fantastic English language /Literature Tutor he is so knowledgable and teaches with a passion. He never let us down and always arrived early. He is very smart he has a lovely sense of humour and my son and him had a brilliant rapport. During the exam time Matt had been in contact before and after every exam he emailed revision notes and reminders to keep my son focused. We were so lucky a space became available as my son was in Year 11 when we engaged Matt in the November of 2018 which meant allot of hard work ahead. My son was attaining grades of 3, his moral was rock bottom we felt the school had let him down, my son knew deep down he could make a massive improvement with extra support. So we engaged Matt he is amazing as he found how to bring the spark and competitiveness back by teaching in a way my son did not realise he was learning which built up his confidence as he wanted to work hard to try and attain a 5/6 to open up opportunities to study at College. The grammar, punctuation , paragraphs the more descri ptive words together with how the questions are expected to be answered to gain the most marks, all this has been taught by Matt and will have made a huge difference. My son is confident he answered the exam questions in the way he had been taught by Matt and realised that others in his Year who sat the same exams were not as knowledgeable as he was.? Now we wait till August. I have no regrets in Engaging Matt. (And neither does my Cat Billie who never goes to anyone, went straight to Matt on the first day and has sat next to him every lesson to be tickled , so if my son has not done well Matt will be kidnapping Billie and taking him home )!! However we are very confident Billie is safe ! Thank you Matt for all you have done, you have been amazing. And anyone engaging Matt will have no regrets."
