Having just 151 pupils, Longsight Community Primary is in the lowest category of attending students in the UK. With only 45.7% girls against 54.3% boys, the school has slightly more males than females. It is important that schools monitor attendance records closely, to try and reduce persistence absents. A low 95.7% attendance rate for the school is below average for the country. Having only 7 members of staff makes Longsight Community Primary have a far lower number of staff than most other schools in the area. Having a 22:1 teacher/student ratio, it is slightly less than average, which permits the teachers at the This School to spend a little more time with their pupils. With a salary of £35627 , their teachers are paid less than the national average wage. The school has an extremely small number of pupils who speak English as their 1st language, with only 17.4% of them doing so.
