Absence management in partnership with parents is encouraged by both schools and government at local and national level. With a 88.1% attendance rate, the attendance is below national average. With a very low 10:1 teacher/student ratio, the classrooms of Bath Community Academy are very small, allowing the teachers to give attention to individual pupils` concerns.

KS4 enables pupils to learn about a variety of subjects, some of which are compulsory under the national curriculum and others voluntary.

There is a growing reliance by higher educational institutions upon predicted grades at A Level when offering places to pupils. With a teacher`s salary of £38580 , wages at the school are significantly above the normal countrywide teacher`s income. The school has a 97.2% of pupils speaking English as a 1st language, which is above average for the schools location.
