The man was in his mid-twenties
On his head was a woolly beanie and on his feet he wore scuffed old Ugg boots. Deep in conversation, which judging from the look in his eyes seemed very intense, he paced the toiletries aisle. His mobile phone was at least 5 years old and the battery was held in place by an elastic band. Slowly, he squatted down to examine the range of medicines promising all cures.
Notice how you can build up descri ptive detail using such as variety of sentence structures. Now see if you can do the same, describing a character and building up detail. Think carefully about your range of: sentence structures punctuation sentence starters.
