Feedback for our tutors in Aspatria from previous students
"I took my 2 daughters to Christine for an assessment. She was excellent with them, very enthusiastic, encouraging and welcoming. She gave me some very good advice and my daughters are looking forward to going back to her for some tutoring. She even gave my youngest son some work to do while we were waiting - which he loved!"

"I found Itxaso (pronounced "itasha") very understanding and accommodating, given the desperate situation we were in - my son got a 2 in Maths in his mocks, but wants to go to sixth form and so needs a 4, and it is only a few weeks before his exams and he is panicking because he has lost all confidence in himself and his revision. Itxaso was wonderfully calm and relaxed about the process and kept it all very clear and simple: going over past questions and papers together and giving them as revision, so then she could go through his answers with him in minute detail so he could see what was needed, where he went right/wrong so what was needed was explained, presented & reinforced. When there was something he wasn`t grasping she would spend time identifying his difficulty and then finding ways to explain it in a way that made sense. As a consequence he was massively more confident and has felt he did relatively well on at least 2 of the 3 papers. I certainly feel it has given him a fighting chance, and look forward to being able to post the result on this site. Even if he doesn`t get that vital 4, I would still be recommending Itxaso for any student, but especially those for whom maths is a struggle, as her approach is gentle but clear."
