Are you struggling to achieve the grades you want in Psychology? Maybe you are needing advice on how to progress towards your target grade and want guidance on mastering exam technique or effective revision strategies? There is a lot of content in the A Level Psychology syllabus and I am here to help and to build your confidence ready for your exams. I am the Head of Psychology at a highly regarded and successful secondary school. I have been teaching Psychology for 16 years and my students consistently achieve the highest grades, with a high proportion of my students regularly achieving A*-A grades (between 33 and 36% over the last two years) and A*-C grades (between 83% and 92%), plus we have had a 100% pass rate for many years. I work as an A Level Psychology Examiner and this enables me to offer you expert guidance on exam and revision techniques, in addition to helping you get to grips with the more challenging topics in Psychology such as research methods. I can offer in person or online tuition for A Level and degree level Psychology. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a Clinical Psychologist, which has given me a great breadth and depth of psychological knowledge, which is useful in bringing the syllabus to life and encouraging students to deepen their learning beyond the classroom.

My tuition sessions are first and foremost guided by you as the student. In the initial session we will assess your learning needs and set short and long-term goals to maintain a clear focus for the sessions. Experience: I have 16 years experience of teaching A Level Psychology and am also an Examiner. I have also taught on a part-time BSc Psychology degree for a number of years. I have offered private tuition since 2009, both online and at the home of students and have worked with A level and degree level students.
