I am a Reception teacher, with a passion for early reading. I teach in a challenging area of East London and over 80% of the children we teach meet their expected phonics goals. I have always worked within early years, including nursery children. I think phonics and early reading is the most important skill young children can learn. I can also support with maths and writing learning from early years-year 2.

Availability: I am available from 9th August onwards, Monday-Sunday at any time of day. I am able to travel to your residence, online sessions or you are welcome to attend the session in my neat and tidy flat.

Experience: I have been teaching Reception for two years, and mostly focus on the Read Write Inc! programme. My speciality is focusing on those early readers who find it difficult to blend and segment. I have taught the RWI programme from nursery level up to grey book, which is around year 2 level. I have been observed and assessed by RWI professionals and they have given me excellent feedback. I also have experience working with SEN children. I have experience working with nursery, reception and year 1 classes.
