I am a very patient, qualified teacher, who works from home and also visits students in their own homes, social distancing measures taken into account (mask/visor wearing etc) during the current situation.
I enjoy working with all ages, Primary to adult, and promise to encourage and inspire all in my care, to hopefully ensure excellent results! One- to-one working certainly ensures progress, as pupils can explain their individual needs, on which a tutor can then focus, to ensure progress is made in the future. My strength is engagement with pupils, which has meant success and mental well-being for them all.
Availability: I am available weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I qualified in Classics and English from Leicester University in 1985. Since then I have taught in the Primary, Secondary, Private and F.E. sectors. English, Maths, French, Latin, Classical Studies and History are my subject areas. I also prepare pupils for Entrance Tests.

Jane is an excellent tutor. My son has always struggled with English but Jane was able to pinpoint his problems and structured her tutoring to help with this. He has now passed his GCSE. I have no hesitation in recommending Jane as an English Tutor.
