I have a PhD in English Language teaching from the University of Bedfordshire.I am an enthusiastic and result-oriented teacher. I have over 17 years experience in teaching English up to GCSE O/A Level and further Education.I am also a qualified TESOL tutor. I teach English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL),IELTS and CELTA. I am a trained One-to-One Tutor and an assessor.I always plan my lessons/ tuition to suit the needs/requirements of my students/tutees. My approaches to teaching which are mainly learner-centred have been the secret of my success as a teacher of English to both children and adults.
I am caring,attentive,focused and friendly. As a teacher, I ensure that all my students, no matter their level, get the best out of every tuition session.
Availability: I am available on Weekdays evenings and weekends (by appointment).
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have over seventeen years of teaching experience at Key Stages1 - 5. I am also trained to teach ESOL/ESL from Entry 1-Level 2.I also prepare students for 11+ exams, PTE, QTS English, IELTS and Other English related exams.I also train for CELTA. Additionally, I am a proofreader, editor and freelance writer.

An excellent tutor!!! Margaret is a tutor who actually does what she states on her descri ption.
Really, really good! She is very proactive and caring. Before every session, she ensured everything was planned out and even printed/marked the work in her own time.Also, she is friendly, approachable and supportive.
There are some tutors who don`t do as they say and use cliches to look good. Honestly, would recommend to anyone, the best English tutor I`ve come across.
