I have tutored students both face to face and online for the past 10 years whilst working as a teacher of Mathematics. I am a respected, qualified and experienced professional with a record of success at school and with tutees. I am an Educational Consultant and Secondary Maths Teacher with experience writing for and working for exam boards as well as being a Lead practitioner.

In my experience, tutees on average move between one and two grades with one to one help, depending on how often they have tailored help. I have seen students go from a D to an A with the right support and motivation. I am experienced in tailoring a solution to improve your performance and support your requirements.

Availability: Some afternoons, evenings and weekend mornings during the school term. During school holidays I can be more flexible.
My fees are variable depending on the subject levels required. The first introductory one to one session is half of my usual fee as students (and parents) need to have the confidence that I am able to deliver their individual needs. I can also bring evidence of my enhanced DBS certificate to this first session if required.

If substantial travel is required a fee may be charged or I may offer lessons longer than the usual 1 hour.

I am also available through Zoom for exam scri pts, offering accurate marking and feedback for improvement.

Experience: I teach Maths GCSE and A Level for all exam boards and have experience teaching the IB and tutoring first year undergraduate students from Birmingham City University, as well as successfully coaching applicants for the Police Entrance Exams.


I am a University of Birmingham graduate, with a 2:1 Honours Degree in a Research Programme- Public Policy Government and Management, with MicroEconomics, and a 2 year PGDipEd teaching qualification in Maths from The University of Birmingham, always continuing professional development through myself and my employer.

I am an experienced tutor and mentor for students from age 11 to 18, both in one to one sessions tutoring Maths, and in raising educational aspirations and promoting Higher Education with Aim Higher and as a University Outreach Ambassador.

I have tutored online to students around the world in the UAE and the UK where distance is a problem, and had plenty of success. I believe that online tuition is a good option for all parties and you can still access an experienced professional and examiner through this platform.

I offer sessions on Zoom where I will go through exam technique and often find that exam performance improves as it shows how an examiner would approach the questions which is often a difficult area for students to grasp. This is an excellent opportunity to close gaps in knowledge and hone examination skills.
