Hello! My name is Maya and I am studying Dentistry at Leeds University. I have studied Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology A-levels, in which I received 3A`s.
Availability: I am available weekdays and weekends. From 10am - 7pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Being a recent student myself I understand how overwhelming both school and exams can be. I know that enjoyment is a huge part of learning and without it a subject can sometimes feel draining, so I focus on bringing enthusiasm and fun to the session! I have experienced that students find information most manageable when its broken down, so that content is simple and understandable. I am knowledgeable, skilled and empathetic individual who can offer a range of support including how to boost revision strategies and exam skills.
I have always had a passion for sciences but I understand that it’s not for everyone, for example my younger brother really struggled with it. With my students, I have been able to help them develop an appreciation for the subject and so they are able to engage more in class: boosting their confidence.
