I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher and have held positions in both public and private sectors. I have an extensive background in tutoring for 11+ and have tutored Common Entrance candidates with great success. I am also a qualified specialist in supporting children with dyslexia.

When I`m not teaching, I am a mum to two girls who keep me very busy!

Availability: Weekday evenings after 6:30pm

Experience: The majority of my teaching experience has been in mainstream primary schools where I have worked for 15 years. Within this time I have gained a wealth of experience throughout Key Stage 2, as I have taught each of the year groups. I have been a leading teacher in English for the county and offer this as my specialism. My current position is SENCo where I support children with learning difficulties.

I spent 7 years working in the private sector in various roles such as English teacher, Head of Maths and latterly Head of Learning Support. I have supported children as they prepare for pre-tests and Common Entrance examinations.

I have also worked at a secondary school as an English teacher and I have been employed by Cambridge International as a GCSE exam marker, which has given me an understanding of the expectations placed upon students after they leave the primary phase and has therefore enabled me to provide learning programmes to aid the transition to secondary education.

I have been privately tutoring children for 11+ entrance since 2002.
