Hi, I`m Devangi!

I`m a recent veterinary medicine graduate from the University of Edinburgh. I absolutely love my field and, whilst it`s hard work, the impact I`m able to make on others and animals makes it all well worth it.

I`m originally from London and attended both a comprehensive school and a grammar school sixth form and so I know the type of support you may feel you need and what you may feel you`re school doesn`t provide regardless of what school you go to.

I strongly believe that students aren`t given enough individual attention in schools and that often teachers just do not have the time to help everyone. I`m hoping I can provide my tutees with a relaxed environment where I`m able to give them that extra time to ask questions and really understand what they`re studying as opposed to trying to memorise the mark scheme.

I also hope I can help students build their confidence when it comes to subjects they may struggle with as well as provide a friendly face to chat to when they feel down.

Experience: I regularly peer tutored both throughout school and at university: I`ve got experience with all three sciences, maths, english and now parts of the veterinary course.
I believe my strength is getting to understand my tutees and help them build confidence as well as a strong understanding of their subjects. I also like to tailor my lessons to suit my tutees learning styles as I`m very aware not everyone learns in the same way and I think individual tailoring is key to getting the most out of each session.
