**HIGHEST RATED MATHS TUTOR IN EAST LONDON***READ ABOUT ME IN MONEY WEEK** I AM A PREMIUM SUPERTUTOR**GET READY FOR HARDEST A-LEVELS EVER…2020**

One of my clients wrote some very kind words about me for Money Week:

https://moneyweek/513800/fed-up-with-your-kids-school-home-educating-might-be-easier-than-you-think/

Results attained by my students this year:

A-level maths: 4 students: 3 grade A, 1 grade C (Now studying at Warwick, Bristol, Leeds & Queen Mary`s)
A-level chemistry: 1 student grade A (Now studying at Warwick)
GCSE Maths higher: 1 student grade 8
GCSE Maths foundation: 1 student grade 5 (maximum possible grade)
GCSE Chemistry: 1 student grade 8

All of my A-level students met or exceeded the grade requirements of their conditional offers for their first choice of university. All of my A-level students attained offers from Russel Group universities. All of my A-level students were on track to achieve Es/Ds when we first met, but we worked hard together throughout the year and they went on to achieve brilliant grades! I can’t wait to check up on everyone in a few years time!

**Remember everyone, this year English students achieved the worst A-level grades in 12 years. Clearly, our schools aren’t doing right by your children. This year’s exams will be even harder. **

I am a third year Maths undergraduate at King’s College London. In the past two years I have consistently performed in the top 5% of 261 hard-working, capable peers. I am currently ranked 10th in academic performance, and I am the highest performing British student in my vast cohort.

I’ve spent the past three and a half years working both full-time and part-time as a private tutor. I started working as a tutor full-time when I was just 18, driving from county to county each day to teach dozens of students. I’ve had unforgettable experiences thus far; I’ve even taught students living in castles and at the top of skyscrapers! I’m deeply invested in each and every one of my students (I never forget a student!), and seeing them achieve their ambitions motivates me to innovate and improve in parallel with their progress!!

My students have achieved great results over the years, including one girl with all A*s at GCSE (8s and 9s), and two boys with A*A*A* at A-level. I will work tirelessly until your child is on track for the highest grade they’re capable of achieving. Then, we’ll begin preparations for university applications, utilising my knowledge and experience to maximise the chances of your child’s success.

I don’t just focus on the academics though. It’s important that my students build confidence. I want them to participate in school lessons and beat nerves.

I’m the best tutor for your child. I can say that because I’ve taught over 50 students, and all of them stuck with me and achieved success.

Here’s how I differ from other tutors:

• I’m young. My students say it’s easier for me to get on their wavelength, and I don’t make the material seem stale

• I keep track of what we do each lesson, the homework I set, and the marks from homework and quizzes. I can send this to parents so that they can see the progress we’re making.

• I ask my students what they’ll be learning in school over the next few weeks, and teach this first so that they can go into lessons with confidence. Afterwards, I return to topics covered at the beginning of the year, ensuring there are no gaps in my student’s knowledge.

• I e-mail or set homework after each lesson based on what we’ve just covered. You’ll be surprised how few tutors actually do this!

• I’m on hand via e-mail or Whatsapp for homework help, this may not seem that important but I’ve been told it’s a lifesaver in exam season!

• I know the new A-levels and GCSEs specifications inside out, as I’ve been teaching them for more than three years. Older tutors aren’t familiar with the subtleties and skills that the new exams require.

• I work with past paper questions from the very first lesson. This means that when my students sit their exams they’re very familiar with how the questions are laid out and how to maximise their marks.

• I spend time after every lesson chatting with parents about how we’re progressing and goals for the future. I’m also happy to send progress reports via text or e-mail if that works better.

• I’m an expert at UCAS and university applications. I’m happy to advise on personal statements, work experience, and choosing where to apply. I also have a close network of friends on a variety of courses throughout the UK (including STEM and medicine) who are happy to answer specific questions you might have.

• I’m DBS checked and can provide references on request.

Please drop me a message if you have any questions.

I hope you choose me as your tutor, and I look forward to many successful lessons ahead.

Availability: Quite limited. Please enquire and I will do my best to accommodate.

At the end of year 12 my son got an E and was told by his school he would have to resit the year. We decided to take him out of the school and, while we were looking for a new school, had Lewis tutor him.

In the end, we decided not to bother with a new school as the lessons with Lewis and his other tutors in his other subjects were going so well.

The proof of whether we made the right call would be his A-level results.

My son got an A in his maths A-level, and is now going to Bristol Uni to read economics.

Thank you Lewis.

Lewis tutored A Level Chemistry exam. Although I came to him quite late on in the academic year, he was able to work with me through problems I had. Being a maths student at an RG uni , he was particularly helpful with the maths sections of the Chemistry- helping me to think about concepts in a different way. He was easily available over text message and when I sent questions that I was struggling with, he replied with work through answers - which I found very useful. I’m now doing medicine at an RG University.

Lewis tought our son Economics for only a few months, but he gave him very valuable support especially with regard to exam technique and approach to questions. Our son ended up with a B, just one mark off an A, which is a fantastic result, given that he started off a D mark at his mocks. Thank you very much.

Lewis is an outstanding excellent tutor for our son who is studying Sixth Form Pure Maths and Further Maths.

Lewis is very resourceful and has developed the tactics and methodology in tackling the examination.

He always gives constructive feedback, advice and methods to overcome the challenges and difficulties in understanding the questions and continuing to improve the skills to perform the best consistency in testing and examination.

It is very grateful to know Lewis in person and we are very impressed on his attitude and enthusiasm to improve his student’s learning behavior and the ultimate examination result.

Lewis has done a good job for my son, restoring his confidence in maths and making quick progress through the A-level course. My son looks forward to the lessons and feels they are very useful, much better than what he gets at school.

Lewis is a student at university in London. He is remarkably together for someone in his early 20s. He is well presented, clean cut, personable, and has turned up punctually to every lesson (with one exception).

We picked him because he was the top ranked maths tutor locally. He is also the most expensive - so that is a call you will have to make. We will know if he was "worth" the extra spend when we see my son`s maths results at the end of the year, but so far I am happy with the job he has done. We have had five lessons with Lewis so far.

I started having chemistry lessons with Lewis- roughly four hours a week- about six weeks before my AS level exams as I had been consistently getting Us all year in my mock exams. In the time I spent with Lewis he quickly developed my confidence in chemistry theory (for example molecule nomenclature and electrophilic addition mechanisms) and the maths involved in other areas (e.g. titration calculations and bond enthalpy equations). He`s charismatic, friendly and easy to approach with other issues like exam stress and revision technique. Even when we weren’t having lessons he would send me links to revision resources and answered any questions I had when I was revising alone instead of leaving it just to our lessons. I went from a state of fear and panic to calm and confident in a very short amount of time and ended up getting a C in my chemistry exam. My paper is currently being remarked as I was close to the B grade boundary. Regardless of the outcome of this I`m now a lot more confident with chemistry and have built a sturdy foundation which I can develop over the next year in my A level chemistry class. I would highly recommend Lewis to anyone in need of AS chemistry tuition.

Lewis has spent fourteen hours over Easter helping with Maths IGCSE revision and also with all 3 sciences. Our daughter missed a great deal of the school year for health reasons and he has done a great job helping her to catch up. She now feels confident of getting good results in all these subjects. He is interesting and relates very well to the children as he was in their shoes not so long ago! Highly recommended.

Lewis is a very polite young man. My son says that he explains things which makes it easier to understand, and he is very knowledgeable. He works around key areas that you have a particular weakness in. His timekeeping is very good.

We decided that our son Jack (yr6 primary) would benefit from some extra math tuition, after searching this site decided Lewis could be an ideal tutor. We made an enquiry and received a response straight away, after exchanging details we arranged Jacks first session, Lewis was extremely flexible which suited us perfectly.
After a good few weeks now, we cannot recommend Lewis enough! Jacks enthusiasm for learning is growing as the weeks go on, Lewis is patient, understanding and a fantastic teacher. He always arrives promptly each week, and structures each lesson perfectly to meet Jacks needs. Jacks confidence and ability is growing quickly, we are positive we made the right choice in Lewis, and we are extremely excited to see Jacks progress over the coming school year!
