Our first session will be free and will be used to create an individual learning plan tailored to your needs.
I have a patient and understanding approach and use a wide variety of exercises to ensure that tutorials are enjoyable and effective. I have extensive training in teaching students with SEN.
I specialise in maths and science at GCSE and KS3, and 11 plus tuition.
Availability: Evenings, weekends, school holidays
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I am a qualified teacher of science and maths in current practice, my original training was in psychology and I ran my own manufacturing business for 20 years.

Alan is an excellent tutor with a wide knowledge covering every aspect of physics. He approaches every session with a very hands-on approach which is very advantageous to those who have a long preparation time before GCSE (year 10) and students studying physics at A level who may need a more in-depth knowledge in the subject . I recommend parents .

Alan is cheerful and very positive in his teaching. He takes time to prepare specific work for my son and always turns up on time with a variety of mathematical tasks. In just a few weeks my son`s ability in GCSE Mathematics has improved vastly.
