Children have different learning styles and there isn`t a simple one method that fits all. I am passionate about education and enjoy nurturing the love of learning in all children from whatever backgrd or experience they have. Thus my lessons are fun, engaging, interactive and challenge each child to the level that suits them. I have been tutoring for over 7 years and have successfully tutored children to pass 11+ entrance exams and overcome their fears/challenges of particular subjects. I am a qualified teacher, Education Consultant and Mathematics Specialist. I have adopted a Singaporean mathematics method to teaching mathematics that is simple and accessible to all.

My lessons include short engaging and accessible activities to start the lesson. This helps build up confidence and set the child up to want to learn more. Much of the rest of the lesson is problem solving and encouraging a child to overcome their challenges and meet their targets. I will be your child`s guide in their learning journey rather than leader as I truly believe that the best learning is one that is carried out wholeheartedly and independently. All lessons will set out a target that the child would like to achieve. I will support the child in identifying the steps it will take to achieve the targets and finally the lesson will end in reviewing the child`s journey in achieving the target.
