Science teacher, teaching all KS2/3/4 sciences and Alevel biology and psychology. Specialised in teaching biology, psychology, physics and special education. Can offer GCSE science support and tutoring for Biology and Psychology at Alevel or degree level.
I am also an examiner for AQA alevel biology, psychology, BTEC medical science and GCSE general science.
I have a first class honours degree in biological sciences and human biology, certificate in early childhood psychology and education. I am currently studying childhood psychology, with the aim of completing my doctorate.
I have a PGCE in secondary science and special educational needs and been teaching for 10 years. I have also a physics conversion so I am able to teach physics Alevel. I have experience working with all abilities, however I am specialised in special education and have experience working with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, particularly working with students with ASD.
Availability: Days for homeschool students or to fit free periods. Most afternoons and early evenings after school. Weekends can be arranged.

Rebecca has been brilliant! My daughter had fallen behind in her triple science GCSE during the pandemic and was quickly loosing confidence. Rebecca has designed lessons based on where my daughter felt she needed the most help, going back to basics where needed and working to adapt as her confidence has come back. Lessons are super well planned, resources are always available for revision and my daughter is really enjoying the sessions - she is also back on track! Highly recommend Rebecca.

My child was slipping behind in her triple science GCSE’s and was quickly loosing confidence in the subject but after only a couple of sessions with Rebecca she has (almost) doubled her test results and is much happier in class. We’ve continued with the tutor sessions and my daughters confidence and willingness to study has grown hugely. I’d highly recommend Rebecca. My daughter loves her lessons with Becky. She really appreciates how organised her tutor is with forward planning and then diligently covering every aspect of the topics. After teaching my daughter any component Becky consolidates the learning through test papers and feedback. My daughter leaves each lesson feeling confident and enjoying the subject, something she had lost. We highly and happily recommend Becky.
