I am a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and management skills. I have displayed ambition and goal oriented performance in my current academic career. I am a kind and friendly person who is experienced in teaching, so far I have students with different mind sets and age groups and I never found any difficulty in adjusting to the mind set of any age group with any level of understanding. Teaching is my passion and I love to share my knowledge and experience with my students for their bright and successful academic careers.

Tutoring Approach:
I have caring attitude with excellent communication skills. I would approach the lesson by preparing well in advance in order to get the most out of the session. I always make sure the student is comfortable and understands the material fully before proceeding further and feels like they can ask questions. I use different teaching mechanisms to prevent a loss of concentration and boredom! I would hope to use my knowledge of how science relates to every day life and also to medicine to make the lessons interesting. I prefer teaching according to recommended course texts. I insist on students mastering the basics before advancing as this makes things easier to understand later on.
I provide helping material, past papers and all other relevant study material to my students. I make sure to go through the marking scheme closer to exam time and ensure the tutee has a realistic revision plan. I encourage students and I myself hold mock tests with students before the actual exam, this allows students to prepare themselves fully before entering into the examination hall.
As we are all aware of the fact that, there is a rise in competition for University places (as I have only just gone through this process myself), I understand completely and can empathize greatly with students. I believe that you will be in safe hands to achieve the high grades you desire

I have helped my students to not only improve their understanding but also their self-confidence when it comes to knowledge and boosted several student`s GCSE and A-Level grades earlier this year. I have also informally taught Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry to fellow students to university standard throughout my academic career. it was not very long ago I was doing GCSEs, A-Levels and my degree, so I totally understand how to go about tackling a subject. My son has been getting 1:1 tutoring with Mrs Khansa for 1 month and he looks forward to the tutoring he gets. He tells me Mrs Khansa helps him by explaining him something that he doesn`t understand in different ways to make sure he understands what he is learning. He also tells me that she is always explaining questions he doesn’t understand. After talking to my son he is very happy with the tutoring that he is getting and i have noticed that Mrs Khansa gives my son quite a lot of homework to do after the lesson of the stuff she has taught in that lesson to make sure he understood when she checks the following lesson. So far i am happy with the progress that my son is making.

Hello, My daughter who is in year 10 had tuition with Khansa in maths, chemistry and physics. I just need to say I found it quite extraordinary for a person to be so highly educated in so many subjects. I was full of awe and admiration. Khansa is a very polite and positive person but I would think the positivity is highly exaggerated which my daughter could sense straight away, including myself. There were promises of taking my daughter’s level to 8,9 when she’s working at a much lower level. Positivity is recommended but it has to be balanced otherwise it’s giving false hopes and becomes meaningless. There were also plans to be drafted for further study which have never been shared with me and after the initial arrangement, the day of the tuition was suddenly swapped. Khansa after setting homework for chemistry, which my daughter found a bit challenging, failed to support her and didn’t go through it with my daughter as any teacher would . She only commented that my daughter ‘will get there’ . Not acceptable for a professional. As a good teacher you need to discuss any difficulties the student has and provide further explanation: guidance/ support. A week later when my daughter brought physics homework from school Khansa did quite a few questions wrong. I must say it’s not only unprofessional but also shows lack of skills/ knowledge??? My daughter is only in year 10 and Khansa advertised her services as a degree level tutor . I’m so sorry but this is not a high quality teaching. We won’t continue.

First of all, you only had 2 lessons with me and the number of comments you have written down sounds like I have been tutoring your daughter for many months or even years.
Nusaybah was only here with me for 2 weeks and had only 2 lessons (an hour each). She was extremely happy to take lessons from me and she kept praising and telling me how happy she was and she will start doing other subjects with me too.
The Chemistry questions which we didnt go through the following week is because Nusaybah requested me to focus more on the Physics during our 2nd lesson rather than the Chemistry homework, as she had been given school work to complete for the following day and she wanted me to prioritise that. This is the only reason we couldn`t go through Chemistry home-work, there is so much you can do in an hour as you can imagine. However she made plan with me to go over the week after.
You made no communication with me whatsoever regarding any concerns or issues for the 2 lessons we had. Your daughter was extremely happy and told me how she was very pleased to cover 2,3 different topics during the 2 sessions we had. I truly wish and hope you spoke to Nusaybah before writing all these comments about me.
I understand the reason why you wrote all this is because you wanted to stop the lessons immediately after realising that you can`t afford the charges set, as you kept cancelling the payments and I had to send polite reminders and kept requesting it for the whole week for you to pay in-time
There were 4 reminders sent in-total within 2 weeks for you to pay for the lessons, which you failed to pay in-time. My charges are reasonable and very afforable compared to many teachers or institutions out there, but I would have been still very happy to make adjustments for you if you had come forward to talk about your affordability.
I am very approachable and understanding individual, you could have kindly requested me in person, and I would have been more than happy to adjust my charges to meet your affordability as I have done this many times in the past with other parents too.
There are more than 80 happy students who have left me good reviews and have gained outstanding grades in different subjects and have also gone into study in Grammar schools, Private schools and some have gone in to study in top Universities! I am still currently teaching many students for GCSEs, A-Levels as well as Primary School children. Its a shame Nusyabah couldn`t continue.
Anyhow I wish Nusaybah all the best in her future studies, and hope she attains outstandung grades in all her subjects. She is an amazing student and an absolute pleasure to teach. It was pleasure teaching her!

We started 11+ with Mrs Khansa early October with the objective to improve maths skills and help my daughter building confidence. The impact Mrs Khana`s teaching has to my daughter is amazing since lesson 1. She has been extremely supportive, patient and always keen to answer questions. I have noticed that my daughter feels comfortable asking lots of questions, she is looking forward to Mrs Khansa`s class every week and confidence has been improved significantly. Even in English where we didn`t experience particular challenges Mrs Khansa support helped my daughter to improve writing and vocabulary significantly. I also appreciated the fact that Mrs Khansa regularly spends time to communicate progress updates with me and she is keen to listen to my concerns/recommendations.

On my son experience, Not really happy at all, for me wasn’t professional. The first booking lesson Mrs Khansa cancelled on the last minute of the lesson, then I give her another chance to do another booking on following week and the lesson where disaster, my son couldn’t concentrate on the lesson because was kids around screaming and a man also screaming and was completely distracted. Plus Khansa where saying more to my son how clever he is or intelligent rather teach him on his material, (I was next to my son) she was doing the lesson over the phone and was also disconnected constantly. After the lesson she left without any speak to me. So I called her to let her know that I wasn’t happy how she did the lesson and she apologies and said it won’t happens anymore. Then give her a chance for another lesson, she cancelled again on the last minute. My review is, if you wanna you child get the right lessons, choose another tutor and don’t waste your money for someone who does the job just for money and not helping your child for his studies. She wasn’t professional, sorry I do have to be honest.

I am absolutely shocked and very disappointed after reading your review. We only had one small trial lesson and praising Alan was necessary due to his lack of confidence in the subject, he wasn`t confident in many areas at all, so praising him was necessary and we saw the result straight away, he was able to answer the simplest questions as soon as I praised and encouraged him to answer. He started to participate in the lesson with encouraging words.
A great amount was covered during the small trial session and the home work was set at the end of the lesson to be completed by the following week. I am seriously absolutely shocked to read your entire review.
As far as the lesson cancellation is concerened, it was changed once only due to family emergency, so you can`t base your entire review about taking your money etc just for the small trial session we had and noise level that was heard.
I have been tutoring for many years face to face and via online, there are hardly ever disconnections during my lessons. All these people that are writing reviews recently are also taking online classes with me, no noise is ever heard or disconnection made during their lessons. You can read their reviews yourself.
I am still in state of shock how could someone write an entire long review and make things up.
One small trial lesson and such long review, about taking money and not supporting the child is absolutely something I can`t get my head around!
If you were not happy with any thing, you may address them to me in professional manner and I am more than happy and willing to change ensuring you child recieves the best support and gains outstanding grades. I never had an experience like this ever before in my 14 years of teaching.
Anyhow I wish you all the best in search of an excellent tutor who is able to support your son in attaining high grades and is able to provide the best support possible.

My daughter is is always excited to have her maths tuition. Khansa is very encouraging and explains methods in a simple and logical way. Amazing tutor! My son had few revision lessons from Mrs Khansa very close to his A Level exam and he found them extremely useful as he has a clear understanding of the topic. Mrs Khansa is truly an amazing tutor. We chose Mrs Khansa to help consolidate my daughter’s learning because of her vast knowledge on all subjects as my daughter was selected for a 13+ academic scholarship exam with very limited time. Such an amazing tutor!!! my daughter had her first lesson two weeks ago and she came out smiling! My daughter is in year 10 and will be sitting her GCSE,S next year. She said she was feeling overwhelmed with missing out on so much school with lockdown and wanted a tutor to get her back on track. I contacted Mrs Khansa to help with Maths and Physics to start with but with her vast experience she can also help with many other subjects which is a bonus! My daughter has had two lessons now and is so happy and glad I found her such a great tutor. My daughter looks forward to the lessons and said the tutor listens to her and explains everything really well. As the lesson is one to one she can ask her questions which she might hesitate in class. We are now looking at using Mrs Khansa for other subjects that my daughter might need more support in. I would definitely recommend Mrs Khansa for your child. I am glad i have found her, as plan to use her for my younger two in the future!!! From the first lesson I had with Khansa, my understanding of Chemistry has developed and I now approach questions with more confidence. Her unique style of teaching has really improved the way I learn and she makes even the hardest of topics easy to understand. I appreciate the value in giving frequent tests to make sure that my knowledge is up to date, also note taking in the lesson is really helpful as it can be difficult to sift through information from such a big textbook.

Mrs khansa is an amazing teacher i came to her quite late but she has helped me with chemistry and biology alot. i was struggling with biology and was stressed but mrs khansa made biology walk in the park. she is an excellent teacher and a very loving and caring person. when ever i attend her lessons i dont want the lesson to finish because i enjoy each and every second of her lessons. i am feeling much more confident about both chemistry and biology. she works more hard than the students and always motivate me. i would 100 percent recommend her to my friends and family.

Mrs Khansa has been a great help to me in chemistry. Although I came to her quite late in the year she has already managed to finish the AS course all the while being incredibly encouraging and motivating. I am always confident that she is teaching me exactly what I need to know and constantly backing it up with exam technique, I can already see improvement in my subject in school and her lessons have actually made me enjoy the subject more than I used to.

My daughter recently started tuition with Mrs Khansa who is a very knowledgeable tutor. She knows how to deliver a lesson and covers so much content in each lesson. My daughter year 13 had only 1 session (Biology) with Khansa, she couldn`t continue because of the travel distance.
The tutor seemed friendly and welcoming. For that 1 session, she worked through the text book with my daughter, although having more visual resources such PP presentations would have been more beneficial and interesting.

Wonderful tutor. She`s very thorough in her knowledge of my chosen subject (chemistry A2) and is up to date in the current specification. Mrs Khansa covers as much content as she can in the lesson whilst making sure I fully understand it and goes through relevant exam questions to make sure I am able to apply my knowledge in the real exam. She is very professional, she plans the sessions meticulously and is very focused on how she wants to approach each lesson. I find that this makes a huge difference and I feel more confident in achieving an A* in Mathematics at A-Level. The best thing about her teaching style is that she motivates me to do well. Khansa is the best tutor you could have . She motivates you and push you to do your best. I am very impressed by how clear she explains chemistry . I feel that I can ask her as many questions as I need until I fully understand the topic. She knows what you need to learn and what examiners like to ask in exams. I have recently been tutored by Mrs Khansa, and I am confident to state that she is an excellent tutor. Not only does she explain the topics as efficently as possible, but she builds confidence that enables you to tackle any exam question that the examinors may throw at you. She simplifies the topics and teaches you the content without exluding any vital information that you may need for your exam. Furthermore, she simply covers all the requierments set on the specification. She is also very friendly, bubbly and easy to get along with. I got in contact with Khansa for help with GSCE level maths for my university entry level test. What I can say is that Khansa very articulate and very informed individual. Khansa was very enthusiastic and encouraging. I find these great qualities in a teacher, especially for someone like me who is an adult learner. Khansa is wiling to go the extra mile to help you understand concepts and will explain in a way that is both logical and clear.

I needed a tutor for my daughter who is studying A Level Chemistry. I found the process of using Tutor Hunt simple and straightforward. I started to have lessons with Mrs Khansa very recently but I am already very comfortable with her. I was always a slow learner when it comes to biology. However, with Mrs Khansa as my tutor, I understood it quickly and easily. She also encourages me to ask questions which I find really helpful as I am always curious when it comes to biology and in school I am too shy to ask any as it might seem like a silly question. Moreover, Mrs Khansa is a very kind and decent tutor. I find it easy to communicate with her out of and during lessons. It is very hard to find tutors such as Mrs Khansa these days as most of them are just looking for the money. Khansa is a very lovely and friendly person who has been a great help. I take tution for both chemistry and biology A2 and she has done an extremly good job of teaching the syllabus. She simplifies whats in the textbook and gives me key notes on what will be expected in exams. Khansa is very helpful not only for my subjects but also for extra things like univeristy applications. Before I started tutoring with mrs Khansa, I really hated biology. I felt I would never be able to improve I the subject and that I would never be interested in it either. It has been a week that I have been learning from mrs Khansa, and i am loving it! I am starting to develop a strong understanding of biology, and I am even considering biology as a future career already! I have never loved a subject so much and understood it so well. It all makes so much sence and mrs Kahnsa has done a great job so far as she explains things very well, and puts all her effort into the lessons. Another thing about mrs Khansa is that she breaks things down very well which helps a lot. She also provides me with past paper questions at the end of every topic which helps me get familiar with the type of questions I will have to answer in my actual exam. Also, mrs Khansa never makes me feel like I can`t do it. She`s always giving me positive comments which motivates me and make me feel like I can do it. Another thing is that Mrs Khansa is preparing me for a foundation paper as she knows that I can do it and she wants me to do my best in everything. She`s a lovely lady and is very welcoming, and she is very calm and patient too. She is willing to explain things over and over again until I understand it properly. I really do enjoy going to Mrs. Khansa`s house to learn, and i really think she`s an excellent teacher And would recommend her to any biology student!
