I have taught English since 2010, first as a teaching assistant and then as a teacher, at a grammar school, as a private tutor, at a private learning centre and at a pupil referral unit. I have successfully tutored students for the Kent 11 Plus Test on a one-to-one basis.
I aborted my studies at Bard College in New York for personal reasons but I have since returned to the University of London to study law. I have a background in philosophy, politics and religious studies, and I`m happy to consider applications from GCSE and A-level students in these fields. I have taught philosophy and religious studies at a Maidstone grammar school as well.
Most recently I have assisted in university students at various stages, from successfully assisting several in writing their UCAS/ university statements to three Master`s candidates in researching, writing and editing their theses. (I`m happy to provide more information.)
In addition to English, I speak French, Shona and Nyanja.
