I am a qualified teacher and have over 20 years of experience in education.

I teach sciences and maths and can also tutor students in their preparations for the 11+ exams.

I am patient and can explain ideas clearly so I help my students to achieve the results they are looking for. I am friendly and easy to work with, so can put students at ease straight away.

Availability: I currently only tutor online.

I am a full-time tutor so I am available during the day as well as through the evenings and at weekends, including throughout the school holidays. At present session times are available between 10am – 9pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Experience: I have been teaching students of all ages for many years in varying settings, both formal and informal, including museums, schools and universities. This led to me qualifying as a secondary school science teacher in 2018. I have a degree in Environmental Science and a PhD in Earth Sciences. I can support students with maths from primary level up to GCSE and all sciences up to GCSE, with Chemistry at A-Level. As a qualified teacher I am familiar with the various exam boards (e.g. AQA, Edexcel etc.) used by schools and how each syllabus can vary. I tailor my teaching sessions to your particular requirements to cater for this.
I also have several years of experience in successfully tutoring students in their preparations for the 11+ exams for entry into selective schools.
