Information about Sumran
Hi there, my name is Dr Sumran and I am a qualified doctor with GMC registration, eager to help students. I want to teach, guide and help students interested in pursuing higher education and I am willing to go out of my way to make sure they get good results! I am a gifted teacher- I can assess the child`s current level AND I can use different techniques to make sure that they fully understand a concept and are not just saying it so that we can move on. My aim is not to teach the most topics- my aim is to teach them every topic to the highest quality. At the end of the day, they need to truly understand the concept before we move on. I will regularly test my students in different formats and make sure I set them plenty of homework that I expect them to complete. As long as the student has a positive attitude, I will work with them to ensure we make ample progress.

Experience: I have had several years of experience in the past at a professional company in the UK (Batley) where I was in charge of group sessions with multiple students, often at different levels. I have taught KS1-KS4 (GCSE level) and I have helped lots of my students reach their desired schools. I myself went to a prestigious grammar school after passing the entrance exam. I will assess the students level using past papers and questions, then continue to target areas needing the most improvement. I am passionate about involving parents along the child`s education journey, and would keep them well informed of all progress. I also taught several online sessions to university students on different topics related to Medicine. I teach Biology, Chemistry, all Maths subjects and also French. I did French up till A-Level so I am confident I can help if your child requires language assistance also.

Sumran is a fantastic tutor and my child enjoys each session with her. She finds his weaknesses and then works on them with him and is finding harder exercises to challenge him. Well worth the money.
