I am a specialised 11+ and GCSE tutor with over 600 hours experience who teaches maths, English, sciences and VR/NVR.
I believe the key to effective teaching is two-fold. Firstly, the lessons need to be tailored to the student. Secondly, the lessons need to be fun and engaging. These are two aspects I bring to my lessons every week.

Experience: I completed my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics.
I have over 3-years experience teaching students towards the SATs, 11+ and GCSE exams. This includes teaching students on a 1-to-1 basis at their homes as well as at local tuition centres.
In addition, I have been involved in outreach programmes where I taught underprivileged children in local schools Maths and English through workshop sessions and on a 1:1 basis.
The approach I take towards teaching students is to ensure each lesson is planned to suit the needs of the student and that they are provided with questions to challenge them and target areas they need to improve on.

My son instantly enjoyed his first lesson and has continued to in subsequent lessons; finding Nishil professional, his instructions and teaching approachable and understandable. There is a clear structure and plan that follows the GCSE curriculum with exam questions provided from a range of examination boards to ensure a thorough understanding on the question language and requirements. Homework is set weekly to embed knowledge and not too long that it takes up a long time reviewing in the following week`s lesson. Quick parent feedback and question time at the end of each session is beneficial also.
