Experience: Furthermore, my work with the Youth Offending Team has inspired my Doctor of Education Studies. The Youth Offending Team have also given me specialist training in particular SENDs such as autism, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and cerebral palsy. It is my personal goal as an educator to help as many students as possible be the best version of themselves they can be and to be a role model for them to show how far they can go.

When approaching my lessons, I strive to create a stable and safe environment where a student feels they can grow their skills in their own time.

In addition to my behaviour management skills, I have excellent curriculum design skills and respond creatively to achieve student progress. I raise standards in my subject area by developing curriculums that will set learning targets for pupils based on their prior attainment. I consider myself a bold thinker and standout innovator who can motivate other to explore new frontiers in a learning environment that supports and inspires them to be better. This year, my schemes have been used across the department as best practise for a variety of topics and year groups. My students often comment that even though they may not like the subject we are studying, they always enjoy coming to English lessons. I attribute this to making my lessons engaging and listening to what my students want from their learning institution.
